At the Shea Center, we hope to integrate entrepreneurial thinking into the educational and formational experience of undergraduate and graduate students at Boston College through academic coursework, co-curricular activities, and experiential opportunities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Strakosch Venture Competition is a university-wide business plan competition designed to promote and support entrepreneurship.

Got an idea that will rock the world? Here’s your chance to get the coin to get started! The 60 second pitch competition is open to all students.


Shea@theMods is a casual meetup at the Mods for students to come hang out, eat food, and share what they are up to. 


A 9-week program that provides student startups with expert advice, space, and funding to launch and grow their business.

The go-to event for motivated students looking to become a part of a growing enterprise where they can make a significant contribution.   


Start @ Shea is the student executive team of the Edmund H. Shea Jr. Center for Entrepreneurship at Boston College that inspires and engages students to make their ideas happen.
